Brass Band is the biggest un-auditioned group in Blowsoc and welcomes brass players of all abilities. We are based on a traditional brass band (although trumpets and french horns are allowed) and play a great range of music from classical to film and pop. Throughout the year, we perform at a variety of engagements including the Christmas light switch on in Lenton and Broadgate Park, and the annual 'UniBrass' university brass band entertainment contest, where we came 5th place out of 17 at our debut performance in 2015! Brass is a very friendly group with regular socials and plenty of opportunities for beer and curry, so come along and join us!
